Fili-Krushel Elected to Dollar General Board of Directors

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn.-Pat Fili-Krushel, chairman of NBCUniversal News Group, has been elected to the board of directors of Dollar General.

Fili-Krushel assumed her current role with NBCUniversal--which encompasses NBC News, CNBC, MSNBC and the Weather Channel--this past July. Prior to taking this post, she was executive vice president of NBCUniversal, overseeing operations and technical services, business strategy, human resources and the legal department. Before joining NBCUniversal in 2010, Fili-Krushel served as executive vice president of administration with Time Warner, CEO of WebMD and president of ABC Television Network and ABC Daytime. She also served in executive positions with Lifetime Television, HBO and ABC Sports.

Of Fili-Krushel, Rick Dreiling, Dollar General's chairman and CEO, said, "Her expertise and experience in operations and strategic growth make her a great addition to our board."
