NEW YORK-Dorothy Belshaw, newly appointed president of the gift division at International Market Centers, and Mike Turnbull, senior vice president, strategic relations at AMC, Inc., its AmericasMart Atlanta brand and LIGHTFAIR International entity, have recently joined the board of directors of Gift for Life, according to a Gift for Life newsletter.

"At its heart, Gift For Life is a collective act of human kindness," Turnbull was quoted as saying in the newsletter. "We are each called in our own way to such commitments. For me, the calling is simply to help advance the remarkable work of Gift for Life however and wherever I can."

Prior to joining IMC, Belshaw was a senior vice president at GLM, serving as its director of the New York International Gift Fair. "I am honored to represent International Market Centers on the GFL Board," Belshaw said. "Over the years, the Gift for Life mission has been an inspiration to so many in the gift industry and has succeeded in knitting us all together in pursuit of a common goal - the eradication of a disease that has touched colleagues and friends ... I look forward to developing an exciting annual GFL event in Las Vegas and expanding our reach and exposure in the western states."
