ATLANTA-Leaders in the home and gift industry were recognized here during the ICON Honors celebration last week, part of the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.

J. Todd Figi, founder of Figi Giftware, received the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award. Figi, who passed away this January at the age of 66, created the namesake Figi Giftware 40 years ago, a company that manufactures a wide range of gift products, has more than 200 sales representatives and factories in the United States, Mexico and China.

David Kiersznowski, founder of gift company DEMDACO, received the GHTA President's Honor of Excellence. The AmericasMart Medal of Excellence Honors were awarded to the Williamsburg brand of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and to Restoration Hardware.

"We are thrilled to receive this honor from AmericasMart, and to be in the company of other accomplished brands," said Jim Easton, vice president of products for The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. "This designation at the ICON Honors Celebration reiterates Williamsburg's relevance and ability to appeal to a variety of decorating styles."

ICON Honors, now in its second year, celebrates achievement, contribution and innovation across the home and gift industries.
