Albert Maslia was honored with the Gift and Home Trade Association/Gift for Life Honor of Excellence.

"Five years ago, Icon Honors premiered in pursuit of the mission for which it was created: To showcase and celebrate global innovation," said Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., vice chairman and president of AmericasMart Atlanta, the founder and primary sponsor of Icon Honors. "That mission continued this year with the largest audience in Icon history on hand to witness stories of extraordinary achievement, and to be reminded of all that ingenuity and innovation can accomplish."

During the market, Surya was also recognized for its showroom display with a Best of Floor award from AmericasMart. "We are very honored to receive these esteemed awards," said Satya Tiwari, president, Surya. "The Surya team works tirelessly to thoughtfully represent the depth and breadth of the Surya brand across all promotional mediums, whether that's our social media platforms, showrooms and exhibit spaces or trade advertising. Our aim is not only to simplify the design and merchandising process for our designer and retailer customers but also to educate them on the power of social media and inspire them with fresh and innovative ideas that can be easily replicated."
