SADDLE BROOK, N.J.--Nourison has updated its Tahoe collection of wool handknotted rugs with modern interpretations of animal patterns, painterly crosshatching, ikats and more. Called Tahoe Modern, the group will debut at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market and the Las Vegas Market this summer.

"We have made the rugs more contemporary through the use of color, absence of borders and cleaner lines while still maintaining the overall feel of this popular collection," said Joyce Lowe, executive director of Nourison's Rug Division.

Tahoe Modern is handmade in India of 100 percent wool and available in five sizes as well as a runner.
