ATLANTA-AmericasMart has announced that three of its long-time area rug tenants have renewed their leases in Building 1 at the market: Obeetee, Amici Imports and Colonial Mills (CMI).

Showing at AmericasMart since 1993, Obeetee is in 5-D-8, a 5,400 square foot space. It offers buyers handknotted, handtufted and flatwoven rugs.

"Our showroom at AmericasMart has proven to be a premier location for our company," said Pradeep Agarwal, president of Obeetee. "We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to continue working together and extending our reach to key customers and contacts around the world through our showroom in Atlanta."

In 6-F-11, a 2,100 square foot space, Amici has been at AmericasMart since the company's founding in 2003. Besides area rugs, it also offers pillows, throws and fabrics from Italy, and bath and towel products from India.

Colonial Mills (CMI) is a leading braided rug manufacturer, and is in space 6-E-1, a 1,646 square foot showroom. It has been at the Mart since 1985.

"We have partnered with AmericasMart for 25 years and have always significantly benefited from our showroom in Atlanta," said Don Scarlata, president and chief executive officer of Colonial Mills. "We look forward to more decades of doing business the right way in Atlanta at AmericasMart."
