PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.-At this month's Atlanta International Area Rug Market, Safavieh will launch its second-largest release of rugs in its Martha Stewart collection since it began working with the design doyenne.

The new group of 26 SKUs includes hand-knotted Nepalese and Tibetan rugs; high-quality, hand-tufted designs that look like hand-knotted rugs; and, to simulate flat weaves, dense micro-hook rugs. In addition, special attention was given to the attributes of each locale, such as the natural fibers, dyes, weaving techniques and manufacturing equipment. The nine new designs include Autumn Woods, a free-flowing flower and vine motif that evokes images of crewelwork embroidery, Chevron Leaves, which was inspired by a vintage printed paper, and Colorweave Plaid, which modernizes graphic patterns based on Scottish tartan fabrics.

To be shown in AmericasMart #5-A-2, the new line has expected retails of $200 to $3,000 and up.
