PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y.-At Las Vegas Market this summer, Safavieh will expand its lighting line with a new collection of Asian-inspired table lamps. The 20 designs range from classic urn and temple jars in handpainted chinoiserie designs to modern interpretations of Foo dogs and Buddha sculptures in ceramic and metal.

The new line includes patterns modeled after archival Export China motifs that are coupled with drum shades in cotton or linen, as well as antique reproductions with traditional Chinese motifs and bell shades. Colors for the Asian collection include Chinese red, coral and deep indigo, and many of the designs are offered in fashion colors in addition to traditional classics.

Safavieh first debuted its lighting line in the fall of 2013 and it has grown ever since, including the launch of its Thom Filicia lighting collection earlier this year.
