The quilting patterns made by pioneer women, the simplicity of the Arts and Crafts movement and other art influences throughout American history have been highlighted in the 25 new designs in Shaw Living's Bob Timberlake collection, which will be showcased at Las Vegas Market. The collection is made in the U.S. of Shaw's EverTouch recyclable nylon. Shaw launched its collaboration with Timberlake last year.
"It is wonderful how the inspiration from simple beauty and history can produce rugs that live so well with today's styling and decor," Kim Barta, brand manager, Shaw Living, said about the collection.
Shaw will also debut the Mirabella shag line this summer, which uses an ombre space-dyeing technique as well as the EverTouch yarn. In addition, it will show an assortment of new holiday accent rugs that include both contemporary and classic designs. Made of printed recyclable nylon, these holiday accent rugs are available in an 2'7" by 3'10" size.
"Shags continue to be a mainstay," said Barta. "They are so easy to decorate with and add splash of color and texture without competing with other elements in a room. Mirabella Shags are also economical and environmentally friendly -- such an easy choice for a great decorating solution."
The company also debuts a new custom and in-stock runner display, which features three tiers of samples for a waterfall-look, the company said. The assortment includes 48 top-selling lines from its machine woven nylon and olefin lines, such as Mirabella, Renaissance, kathy ireland Home International First Lady, Essentials and Gallery, Inspired Design and Woven Expressions Platinum and Gold.
