Surya Announces Events, Getaway Contest for High Point Market

SuryaCALHOUN, Ga.-Surya has a slew of fun-filled and informative events planned for the upcoming High Point Market. Held at its showroom, Showplace 4100, the events include interactive sessions that will include design and color information, as well as a market party.

In addition, market attendees who register at by Friday, March 28 will be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to the Bahamas.

Surya will hold its Spring Showroom Celebration on Sunday, April 6. Starting at 6 p.m., attendees can enjoy an open bar and hors d'oeuvres, along with a DJ and dancing.

On Monday, April 7, at 4 p.m., the Design Tech Summit panel "Design Presentations That Sell" will be presented by Jennifer Flanders from HGTV's Real Designing Women; Shay Geyer, Good Morning Texas design expert and High Point Market Style Spotter; and design technology firms Autodesk and 3Dream. They will discuss ways to apply the latest technology to generate quick, easy and beautiful floor plans and interiors.

The CEU course called Seeing Red will then take place on Tuesday, April 8 at 2 p.m. After blue, red is the most popular color in the world, and this course, presented by Sherwin-Williams, will discuss the history of red, the symbolism, psychology and physiology associated with the hue and illustrate how red shines in home interiors. (IDCEC approved for 1 CEU.)
