GREENSBORO, N.C.-Shannon Marie Kennedy, who had a long career in the home furnishings industry, has died. She was 54.

Kennedy, who was once the director of marketing for the High Point Market Authority, also held posts at Furniture Today and at the High Point Enterprise.

She is survived by her daughter Erin Ann Moulson of Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, donations can be accepted at any Wells Fargo Bank for Moulson. The name on the account is the Shannon Marie Kennedy Donation Fund.
