Agio to Return to High Point Market in October

HIGH POINT, N.C.-Following up on its first-ever appearance at a High Point Market this past April, Agio International said it plans to return to the market this October.

The outdoor furniture manufacturer will exhibit in a larger space in the market's Showplace building. It has signed a lease for a space measuring almost 3,000 square feet, which will expand to about 5,000 square feet at the High Point Market in April 2013. This past April, the company exhibited in an 1,800 square-foot space also in Showplace.

"Our experience this spring far exceeded our goals," said Bob Gaylord, president of Agio-USA. "Not until this show did we realize how many retailers were ready to commit to the outdoor category."

A company statement said Agio's primary U.S. showroom will remain in Chicago's Merchandise Mart. The company will also maintain its presence at the International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market (ICFA) in September and the ICFA Preview Show in July.
