Aico Names Facebook Contest Winner

PICO RIVERA, Calif.-Case goods and upholstery manufacturer Aico held a drawing at its corporate offices here last month for a bedding give-away contest promoted on its Facebook page.  The winner, drawn randomly from a list of contest entrants, was Debbie McCalpin of Forney, Texas.

"When I decided to check out Aico's website, I came across their Facebook contest and signed up," McCalpin said. "I have loved Aico product for years, so this is very exciting for me."

Aico promoted the contest on its website and in dealer store locations, inviting all Facebook users to sign up for the chance to win a Michael Amini Distinctive Bedding set of their choosing.

"We are grateful to Clint and Jill Anderson and their staff (at Anderson's Furniture in Frisco, Texas) for hosting McCalpin and making her experience in choosing her Michael Amini bedding easy and exciting," said Chuck Reilly, Aico's senior vice president of sales and marketing. "It was fortuitous that our Facebook winner was in close proximity to one of our top bedding stores."

Many expected 2016 would be a banner year, but the political and economic climate softened consumer confidence. It was also a year consumers spent more lavishly on home remodeling rather than decorating.
