Art Van Joins with "Days of Our Lives" Cast Members for Charity

WARREN, Mich.-Retailer Art Van Furniture is teaming up with cast members of the long-running television series "Days of Our Lives" and TV station WDIV Channel 4 to help Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries-Genesis House III.

Through this effort, Genesis House III will receive truckloads of furniture this week courtesy of Art Van. The pieces will include 50 mattress sets, bed frames, night stands and dressers. To highlight the campaign, "Days of Our Lives" cast members Shawn Christian and Nadia Bjorlin will make personal appearances at four Art Van stores, where they will sign autographs and pose for photos, on Saturday, Jan. 16 and Sunday, Jan. 17.

Through WDIV, Art Van guests can also enter to win a trip for two to Los Angeles for a special tour of the "Days of Our Lives" set. A winner will be chosen from those who enter between now and Monday, Jan. 18, either in an Art Van store or on the retailer's Web site, artvan.com.
