Blog: Gambling on New in Las Vegas

FROM THE MARKET-The home furnishings industry's trade show tour continues today at the World Market Center for the World  Market.

The mood for the opening day of the show appears to be a continuation of the optimism found at last week's Dallas Total Home & Gift Market; and in Atlanta the previous week for the International Gift & Home Furnishings and the International Area Rug markets.

Events started bright and early today as vendors, including Simmons, held press events as early as 7:30 a.m. Today's activities will conclude with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in numerous showrooms. In between the morning and evening, thousands of new products will be unveiled in categories ranging from mattress pads to entertainment centers.
