CMC Gift & Home Market Set for January

LOS ANGELES-The California Market Center will host the CMC Gift & Home Market from Jan. 22-29, 2013.

Along with the varied collections in fashion items, gifts, accessories and juvenile products, this edition of the show will present the debut of the VIEW Gift & Home Show. VIEW will spotlight a juried showcase of gift and accessory resources. Described in a CMC statement as "a refreshing and modern new take to convention center-type shows," VIEW will be on display in the Penthouse event venue on the CMC's 13th floor. Along with the January version of this show, another edition is scheduled for July.

The main Gift & Home Market will also spotlight collections from providers of holiday and seasonal merchandise, expanded resources and new showrooms. Among the new companies is Maxwell Dickson, which produces custom wall decor, fabrics and furniture; NRB Originals, which offers accent furniture, headboards and lighting; and ZIZI Showroom, which specializes in seasonal, holiday and floral merchandise.

Gerry Seibel, vice president of new business development for gift, home and design at the CMC, said the market will offer "endless crossover merchandising possibilities" between its gift and home exhibitors and the fashion, children's and accessory lines also on offer throughout the market center.
