High Point Market Authority Debuts New Web Site

HIGH POINT, N.C.-The High Point Market Authority has unveiled a new Web site at highpointmarket.org that offers more interactive tools and features.

The goal of the redesigned site is to streamline the market experience for exhibitors, attendees and the press, according to a statement from the organization. Among the new features are:

oStreamlined registration

oTravel discounts and codes for airlines, hotels and rental cars

oAn online hotel reservation system

oEnhanced content sharing

oA first-time-to-market orientation

oAn exhibitors list, searchable by category, style, price point and location

oEvent listings

oAn international section

oMarket contact information, including e-mail updates and links to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube

The new MyMarket feature allows attendees to customize their market-week schedule, to find suppliers, presenters and events; and to save selections for future reference in an itinerary. For exhibitors, the site now has a Marketing Center that includes a comprehensive overview of the market's communication program, an exhibitor listing tool, an online media center, contacts for leasing information and lead retrieval, and access to resources such as the Exhibitor Marketing Kit and a tool for Web ad banner creation.
