NEW YORK-The recent opening of the Luxury Living showroom in New York will increase the presence of the Fendi Casa furniture collection in the United States and establishes a foothold in the country's design capital, Luxury Living executives said during the showroom's opening celebration last week.

Luxury Living, located at on Madison Avenue and 32nd Street, is the third American showroom for the Milan-based company. The combination retail/trade space carries the Fendi Casa furniture brand as well as other Luxury Living Brands such as Ambiente Cucina, Bentley Home and Heritage Collection.

The 11,836-square-foot showroom was developed by the company's internal architecture team, which chose rich, lacquered wood and bronze accents "that nod to the refined urbanity of New Yorkers and pose an apt setting for the brand's distinctive furnishings and accessories," the company said in a statement. "New York is one of the most important cities in the world," Raffaella Vignatelli, president of Luxury Living U.S.A., told HFN. "Around the world there is nothing like New York ... Americans appreciate the collection."

Luxury Living celebrated the opening of the Luxury Living showroom with a party last week featuring company executives from Italy, Italian Consul General to New York Natalia Quintavalle, and numerous interior designers, among others.
