New Lovesac Website Will Meld Online and In-Store Shopping Experience

New website to launch on Blueport Commerce platform

lovesacBOSTON—Lovesac, maker of patented, modular, upholstered “Sactionals,” will relaunch its website to offer a seamless, consultive shopping experience spanning online and its 60 physical stores.

The new website will be unveiled on Blueport Commerce’s platform in the second quarter.

President Jack Krause described the adoption of Blueport’s cloud technology as an investment in omnichannel growth. “For a brand that is as unique as Lovesac, we needed an e-commerce provider that offered innovative solutions for marketing and selling our one-of-a-kind Sactionals and Sacs,” he said. “Blueport’s e-commerce platform is optimized for big-ticket, omnichannel furniture out of the box. Leveraging that infrastructure, we can focus our efforts on building a bespoke that takes our brand, our unique furniture and our stores to the next level.”

Meanwhile Levin Furniture, Pittsburgh-based, family owned business with 18 stores in Pennsylvania, relaunched its website late last year with Blueport and had strong results over the Thanksgiving weekend, led by strong online sales of upholstered living room furniture, according to Blueport. Nearly half of Levin’s traffic and a quarter of its online revenue generated through mobile, according to Blueport.
