Palecek Pairs up with Bravo Designer Jeffrey Alan Marks

RICHMOND, Calif. - Celebrity designer Jeffrey Alan Marks, the star of Bravo's "Million Dollar Decorator," has collaborated with home furnishings designer and manufacturer Palecek for a line of furniture, accessories and lighting that will launch at October's High Point Market.

Based in Santa Monica, Calif., Marks has received such accolades as being named to Elle Decor's 2011 'A-LIST' Top 25 Designers list and House Beautiful's 'A Family Tree of American Designers."

The new line with Palecek will be in two distinct collections featuring Marks' coastal and urban design aesthetic. It will coincide with an advertising campaign featuring the new collection, and will precede the debut of the new season of "Million Dollar Decorator."

"We are thrilled to add Jeffrey's design expertise and clean, sophisticated point of view to Palecek's rich product assortment," said Andrew Palecek, vice president of Palecek. "With Jeffrey's signature style and refined interpretation of our unique natural materials, he has created a truly distinctive collection unlike any other we have introduced. We are excited to introduce the collection this coming October."

Marks added, "My desire to partner with Palecek was based on their extraordinary technical ability when working with unusual natural materials. I've designed the pieces in this collection to make the most of Palecek's highly skilled craftsmen to create intricately detailed pieces with simple architectural forms. I could not be more excited to introduce my new silhouettes to the Palecek family."
