The Bombay Company Announces Partnership with The Powell Company

NEW YORK--The Bombay Company, the globally inspired, classic furniture and home decor brand, has teamed up with The Powell Company, creators and distributors of a range of youth, occasional, dining and accent furniture, for a licensed collection. The new partnership will allow Bombay to expand its product offerings in such categories as accent seating, ottomans and benches, casual dining, youth bedroom furniture, accent furniture and small giftable items.

"The Bombay Company has always been synonymous with value luxury, stylish design and time-tested quality," said Wil Hollands, president of Hermes-Otto International USA and owner of The Bombay Company brand." We are proud to partner with The Powell Company, a recognized name in the home furnishings industry who is known for their dedication to craftsmanship and timeless designs."

Debuting at October's High Point Market in The Powell Company's National Furniture Mart showroom, the collection will include a variety of best seller and classic items, in addition to new pieces.

"Bombay is still one of the best-known furniture brands in the industry and it resonates strongly with consumers of all ages. We immediately embraced the brand once it became available," said Jim Ziozis, CEO of The Powell Company. "It is a perfect match for The Powell Company's traditional and core competencies. Our retail partners are as excited about this as we are."
