World Market Center Tabs Executives for Gift + Home

LAS VEGAS-World Market Center has designated 10 executives to lead the division for the Gift + Home show, which will make its debut Aug. 2-6.

Georgia Davis, former executive vice president for Dallas Market Center, has been named vice president of Gift + Home, and is responsible for the strategy, sales and growth of the show.

Gerry Seibel, formerly the convention center's director of designed-focused events, and Boyd Tasker, former executive director of sales and marketing for Whereoware, have become directors of business development for Gift + Home. Seibel oversees the leasing of permanent gift and decorative-accessory showrooms, while Tasker is in charge of the leasing of permanent decorative-accessory and lighting showrooms.

Randy Eller, owner of consulting firm Eller Enterprises, and Ron Radin, owner and publisher of Homestyle Publications, have been designated consultants to the Gift + Home division. Eller advises the division on its growth efforts targeting suppliers and buyers, while Radin consults on growth plans involving lighting companies.

Rounding out the team in business-development positions are Sheri Makransky, overseeing the leasing of permanent gift, rug and decorative-accessory showrooms; and Keith Davis and Lindsay Pearson, both responsible for sales for the Gift + Home temporaries. In addition, Michelle Ovalle has been named brand manager for Gift + Home, responsible for the show's marketing programs and events, and for leading a team of retail specialists focused on gift buyers.
