BURNSVILLE, Minn.-Veteran home furnishings writer, editor and marketing/communications specialist Kimberley Wray has joined FurnitureDealer.Net as editorial director.

Wray has worked with manufacturers, designers, showroom entities and trade publications. Most recently, Wray operated her own marketing/communications firm. Before that, she served as vice-president of marketing for the High Point Market Authority. She began her home furnishings career more than two decades ago as a journalist at HFD, now known as HFN, and High Points Magazines. She is the co-founder of and Ambassador for WithIt (Women in the Home Industries Today).

"What excites me most about bringing in Kimberley Wray as a partner to help us change this industry for the better, is that she is simply the best storyteller I have ever met," said Andy Bernstein, founder and chief executive officer of FurnitureDealer.Net.  "I was lucky enough to hire her as a public relations consultant on a project basis last year and got to experience firsthand what a talented communicator she really is. She has a unique ability to distill complex concepts and repackage them in a way that everyone understands. She is passionate about our industry and the people in it, and her network is unparalleled."
