AmericasMart Honors Visual Design at Market

ATLANTA-AmericasMart celebrated the visual presentation achievements of permanent and temporary exhibitors at its July 2013 market with awards recognizing superior designs across all product collections and categories.

The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market and The Atlanta International Area Rug Market yielded Visual Display Awards for 30 permanent showrooms and 21 temporary exhibits, including a Best of Show in the Temporaries. Independent design and visual merchandising experts, with decades of experience, selected the winners.

Among the winners were Global Views, which judges credited with "a purposeful positioning of product and props ... enhanced by the striking implementation of color"; Midwest-CBK, for its clever use of discarded and vintage materials in its vignettes; Home Essentials & Beyond, for its distinctive, airy vignettes; and Lazy Susan USA for its attention-grabbing use of color blocking.
