AmericasMart to Highlight Milestone Anniversaries

AmericasMartATLANTA-AmericasMart will mark a number of anniversary celebrations during the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market in January.

Living. Outdoor/Indoor. The Gardens. collection will mark its 20th anniversary with an outdoor fabric fashion show, celebrations and giveaways, including a complete outdoor room and $20,000 of top outdoor living product. Inaugural category exhibitors Campania Int'l, Good Directions, Woodstock Chimes and Summer Classics will all celebrate their 20th anniversaries with that division.

Elsewhere in Building 2, showrooms including Appelman Schauben, Darrah & Co. Ltd., Options, Michael Aram Inc and Select Artificials, Inc. will hold anniversary celebrations throughout the market. "This is definitely going to be an exciting market for the gift collection at AmericasMart," said Mary Sullivan Harper, senior vice president of leasing for AmericasMart Building 2. "From celebrating milestones with our exhibitors to showcasing international lines to hosting impressive presenters, we are thrilled to welcome buyers back to the market."

There will be several presentations and seminars during market. "Adding Birding Product to Your Mix" will be presented by Ray David of Birding Business Magazine on Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. in Building 2. "A Taste of Bacchanalia" will be presented by Chef Anne Quatrano, executive owner of Bacchanalia restaurant in Atlanta, on Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. in Building 2, Floor 8, demonstration kitchen. Celebrity entertaining expert Annette Joseph will present "Picture Perfect Parties" on Jan. 9 at 3 p.m. in Building 2, Floor 9, seminar room. "Marcus Samuelsson's New American Table" will be presented by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, who will share recipes from his cookbook, "The New American Table," on Jan. 10 at 1 p.m. in Building 2, Floor 8, demonstration kitchen. And George Riedel of Riedel will conduct a wine tasting and demonstrate the relationship between the shape of a glass and perception and enjoyment of wines on Jan. 10 at 3 p.m. in Building 3, Floor 15, fashion theatre.
