Candlemakers Prep for Annual Conference

WASHINGTON--The National Candle Association (NCA) Conference & Expo, to be held June 2-6 in Louisville, Ky., will include technical presentations and workshops, networking events, industry updates, and a suppliers' trade show, drawing hundreds of NCA members and non-members from around the country, the organization said.
This year's technical program will feature presentations on the market and price drivers for vegetable waxes, color-trend analysis and forecasting, and factors impacting candle discoloration. Conference participants can also register for two reserved-seating workshop sessions, one on resolving wick challenges and the other on fragrances and consumer behavior.

The conference officially concludes June 5, with NCA's annual business meeting, keynote speaker, group luncheon, afternoon technical program, and closing evening gala. June 6 is reserved for a meeting of the ASTM F-15.45 Candle Fire Safety Task Group, which is open to the public.
