Fanimation's Frampton Given Brass Fan Award

ZIONSVILLE, Indiana-Tom Frampton, founder and chief executive officer of Fanimation, has received the Michael Breedlove "Brass Fan Award" for service beyond the call of duty and supporting antique fan collectors.  The award was presented by the Antique Fan Collectors Association (AFCA).

The award is the highest honor given by the AFCA each year. It is awarded to a member who has supported the organization and the industry in a variety of ways. The award has been presented to association members since 1991.

Frampton recently relocated the AFCA Museum to Fanimation's corporate headquarters here. It houses more than 450 antique ceiling and desk fans.  The collection includes fans that date back to the early 1880s and represents over 140 manufacturers. Frampton's own collection of fans is also featured in the museum collection.
