CHICAGO--Mark Furlet has been appointed vice president of MMPI's Gift & Home division.

Furlet succeeds Joan Ulrich, who is leaving MMPI after 14 years. In a separate statement, Ulrich did not announce her future plans, saying only that "it is time to make a change and let the talented team with which I have been working for years, expand their own roles."

The move puts Furlet in charge of all marketing, leasing and operations for the MMPI gift shows in Chicago and Los Angeles. Previously vice president and general manager of the L.A. Mart, he will remain in this role.

Chris Collins, vice president and general manager of the 7 W New York showroom building in New York City, will remain in this role. In Los Angeles, the management consists of Jeff Sampson, vice president of marketing for the L.A. Mart and California Gift Show; Jim Nahin, vice president of leasing; and the sales team of Pam Williams, Joy Jansen, Lisa Lundrigan and Amanda Earnest. In Chicago, the executive group includes Nancy Michael, vice president of marketing for the Chicago Market; Toni McIntosh, vice president of leasing; and the sales team of Stacey Barrett, Jamie Coward and Robin Flaherty. Sara Dahlstrom, managing director of sales, handles temporary sales in both Chicago and Los Angeles.
