IFDA to Present Session on Color During Gift Fair

NEW YORK--The International Furnishings and Design Association's New York chapter will conduct a session on color during the upcoming New York International Gift Fair.

Titled "The Influence of Color," the program will explore the impact of color on buying trends in home furnishings. The panelists will be Stacy Garcia, designer and owner of Stacy Garcia Inc., and Patti Carpenter, an international merchandiser for the contemporary home-decor industry.

IFDA will hold the session in conjunction with GLM, owner and manager of the Gift Fair. It is scheduled for Aug. 16 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., in room 1A02-03 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, one of the venues for the Gift Fair.
