Imax to Launch Second Connie Post Concept Next Month

TULSA, Okla.--Imax Worldwide Home will launch its second major merchandising concept with retail strategist Connie Post next month, with the introduction of Essentials by Connie. A new color-driven merchandising program, Essentials by Connie will initially debut with the first of two complete collections, focusing on four bright color choices: orange, yellow, blue and green.
"Offering powerful color elements for every room in the house, Essentials provides all the basic elements needed to make any showroom look up-to-the minute, including modern mirrors, lamps, pillows, decorative accents and florals," said Post. It's "modern design made easy." The program will "grab shoppers' attention and create excitement. Like a B-12 shot for merchandising, Essentials was created to add energy to existing room settings and drive business through the winter months straight into Spring/Summer 2013."
Essentials will debut at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, Dallas Total Home and Gift Market and Las Vegas Market next month.
Imax first introduced ColorPOST by Connie, which was a selection of Imax products divided by color story and merchandised on flexible, movable display units. They were meant to simplify the buying process for consumers and to make updating store floors quick and easy for retailers, the company said.
