Magnet Works Names Brown Director of Product Development

ST. LOUIS-Magnet Works, a provider of indoor and outdoor home decor accessories, has appointed Anne Brown director of product development and promoted vice president Tammy Hickel to executive vice president and general manager.

"We've decided it's time to take Magnet Works to the next level," said Curt Todd, CEO and co-founder of Magnet Works. "Ann and Tammy have the industry experience, creativity and focus to get us there."

Since 2005, Tammy Hickel has been the vice president sales and marketing for Magnet Works. In her expanded role as executive vice president, she will run the day-to-day operations of the company, freeing Todd to focus on new strategic directions with Brown.

Before joining Magnet Works, Brown served as senior product developer for Demdaco, a leading gift manufacturing company, and played a key role in developing Demdaco's Embellish Your Story and the Kelly Rae Roberts Collection lines. She has 14 years of product development and industry experience.
