New MVP Brands Division to Serve Specialty Independent Stores

CHARLESTON, S.C.-MVP Group International has introduced MVP Brands, a new division dedicated to serving independent retailers. The newly created division features the brands Colonial Candle, Everybody's Ayurveda, Genuine Monkeez and Friends, Monkeez Makes a Difference and Goofballz. Former Midwest-CBK and Ty president Scott Wehrs is serving as president of MVP Brands.

MVP Brands is also changing and expanding its sales force and showroom presence across the country. Starting May 1, the Colonial Candle and Everybody's Ayurveda collections will be available through representative groups and showrooms launching during the summer 2013 markets. In Atlanta, they will be represented by Gib Carson at AmericasMart Atlanta, Building 2, Suite 1319; in Chicago by Peterson Associates at The Merchandise Mart, Suite 13-126; in Dallas, Denver and Las Vegas by Imagine That! at Dallas Market Center, Suite 1501, Denver Mart, Suite 1315 and Las Vegas World Market Center, Building C, Suite 612; and in Minneapolis by Gift Street at Minneapolis Mart, Suite 149.
