Protect-A-Bed Tabs Wingate to Manage Furniture Key Accounts

CHICAGO-Don Wingate has been named key accounts manager of Protect-A-Bed's furniture retail division.

In this newly created position, Wingate oversees the company's efforts toward selling its full line of mattress- and pillow-protection products to home furnishings retailers. He is also responsible for working with current and prospective customers throughout the nation in the effort to educate consumers on the value of protecting their sleep products. He reports to Chris Taylor, director of sales for furniture retail and rental.

Before joining Protect-A-Bed, Wingate was regional sales manager for Furniture/Today magazine and associate publisher of Kids Today magazine.
