Sleep Innovations Expands Kitchen Program With Deen

Sleep Innovations' Paula Deen collection of kitchen mats got a boost at last month's New York Home Fashions Market.

New to the line are the Paula Deen Anti-Fatigue Pro Mat and kitchen mat covers designed specifically for the existing products in the collection. The Pro Mat is designed to provide the same level of support, and has a similar look and feel as mats found in professional kitchens.

The Pro Mat is made with polyurethane foam and helps prevent foot and back pain during long cooking sessions. Its non-flammable material and non-skid backing help create a safe environment in the kitchen. Available in both 20-by-48 inches and 20-by-60 inches, the Pro Mat fits in front of sinks, dishwashers, washers and dryers, and a kitchen island.

The new covers include embossed patterns, contemporary colors and styles. They allow consumers to change the look of their kitchen mat to complement the kitchen's decor or to celebrate a holiday or new season. They are made of stain-resistant, high-performance material and fit snugly around the kitchen mat, and are designed with non-skid safety backing to prevent slipping.

Sleep Innovations also showcased a range of product designs in its sleep and comfort product categories. These include new styles, colors and textures for the company's bed pillows, mattresses and mattress toppers.

The company's new memory-foam mattress toppers present a reversible two-layer construction that allows the consumer to sleep cooler on one side than on the other. The cover is color-coded with red and blue cording that identifies each side, making it easy to reverse the topper when the seasons change to achieve a warmer or cooler night's sleep.
