Boynton Elected IHA Chairman

ROSEMONT, Ill.-Richard Boynton Jr., president and CEO of Jura-Capresso, has been elected chairman of the International Housewares Association.

Boynton will succeed Bruce Kaminstein, CEO of Casabella. In addition, William Reibl, president of Bill Reibl & Associates, has been elected vice chairman and chairman-elect. Michael Magerman, president and CEO of Quickie Manufacturing, has been elected treasurer.

The terms for all three officers will run from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30, 2012. The new officers will serve on the IHA executive committee along with Kaminstein and David Elliott, general manager of KitchenAid Small Appliances.

IHA has also elected four new directors. They are Gregory Cairo, president of Groupe SEB USA; Anthony E. Kircher, president of Winix; Erik Reid, general manager of Kyocera Advanced Ceramics; and David Sabin, president of Kids Line. Their terms will run from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30, 2014.

Retiring from the board are Mark Eichhorn, president and CEO of Anchor Hocking; Barry Harper, former president and CEO of Harper Brush Works; and Robert Trudeau, chairman of Trudeau Corp.
