Browne & Co Now AdHoc's Exclusive North American Distributor

MARKHAM, Ontario--Browne & Co has partnered with AdHoc to become the German housewares company's exclusive North American distributor. Browne plans to roll out the AdHoc line in the U.S. and Canada starting in September.

Founded in Mannheim, Germany, in 1995, AdHoc is renowned for its award-winning designs and product innovations in spice mills and kitchen accessories. It was one of the first to come to market with the ceramic grinding mechanism and was the first to introduce a stainless steel electric mill, Browne & Co. said. AdHoc has since expanded to include tea, wine and kitchen accessories and its line is available in 30 countries worldwide.

"The product categories designed by AdHoc--spice mills, tea and wine accessories--supplement our current brand offerings and their overall commitment to design, innovation and quality compliments our existing consumer motivation strategy," said Peter Braley, COO of Browne & Co.'s Retail division. "AdHoc allows Browne to expand our assortment of well-designed, affordable tools."

AdHoc joins Browne & Co.'s existing brands, which include Cuisipro, Berard, Nogent and Kitchen Grips, and will be highlighted at the Browne showroom during the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market later this week in its AmericasMart showroom, Building 2 West, Showroom 874B.
