ATLANTA-Mary S. Moore, owner and founder of The Cook's Warehouse, was named president of Les Dames d'Escoffier International.

Les Dames d'Escoffier International is an invitational organization of women leaders in food, beverage and hospitality whose mission is education, advocacy and philanthropy. 

In 2011, the Atlanta Chapter gave scholarships of $30,500 to 10 women, ages 18 to 50, at seven different institutions.

The 28 international chapters have granted more than $4 million in culinary scholarships since LDEI was founded in 1973 in New York.
