Copeland Named to Head Haier Air Quality Business in the Americas

Haier AmericaNEW YORK-Haier America has appointed Gina Copeland senior vice president of air quality, making her responsible for the company's home comfort products in the Americas.

Copeland's role is a new position for Haier America. She reports directly to Adrian Micu, president and CEO of Haier America.

Haier America's home comfort products include dehumidifiers and air conditioners. Prior to joining Haier America, Copeland was senior director of strategy and planning for the heating and cooling division of Mitsubishi Electric. Her career includes a number of strategic roles developing and executing high-growth strategies, according to a Haier America statement.

The company has also hired Sanjay Gupta as vice president of product platform development for major appliances, and Paul Riley as vice president of sales and marketing for major appliances. Gupta is responsible for developing strategic plans and product road maps for all appliance categories. Riley is in charge of sales and marketing strategies for these products.
