Crock-Pot Starts Ultimate Crock-Pot Crock-Star Campaign

BOCA RATON, Fla.-Jarden Consumer Solutions' Crock-Pot brand has launched its first-ever nationwide search for the Ultimate Crock-Pot Crock-Star.

Participants can upload an original recipe prepared with their Crock-Pots with a photo or video of them using the appliance on crockstars.com from Oct. 1-31. Individuals can then vote for their favorite recipe from Nov. 12-25. The grand prize winner will receive a guest appearance on the Cooking Channel's "From The Kitchens Of" special, which will air on Jan. 20, 2013.

The campaign coincides with the debut of the new crockpot.com website. Visitors to the site can shop for new and exclusive products, and share stories about their favorite recipes, photos, entertaining ideas and more in the new "Daily Dish" section. The new crockpot.com also features more than 800 recipes and allows consumers to rate and review recipes and products.
