Posted on December 1, 2010 by HFN Staff

NEW YORK-Dean Chapman has become chief executive officer of Prepara, the housewares company founded in 2007, succeeding Evan Dash, who has left the company. Chapman, who is also president, owns the company with Ed Kilduff, who has become chief operating officer. Before Prepara, the two had a boutique industrial design firm called Pollen Design.

"Ed and I have had great success and are so excited to be moving forward on new projects," Chapman said. "Our company is really on the upswing. We look forward to a fantastic year, and will be rolling out more new products soon."

The company had a boost recently as its Herb Savor was picked as one of Oprah's Ultimate Favorite Things, and featured on her show last week.
