Electrolux Relocates Small-Appliances Unit

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Electrolux Small Appliances North America is relocating from its former headquarters in Bloomington, Ill., to the new Electrolux North America headquarters here.

The move, which is expected to be substantially complete by the end of this month, means that all of Electrolux's North American business units will be located under one roof for the first time, according to a company statement. The relocation of the small-appliance unit is the final step of the North American subsidiary's overall relocation here.

"There is much to gain by taking advantage of the synergies among our various business units," said Marty O'Gorman, who recently was named president of Electrolux Small Appliances North America.
