EveryWare to Expand Capacity at Pennsylvania Facility
October 30, 2013,
LANCASTER, Ohio-EveryWare Global plans to spend $1.8 million on expanding its manufacturing facility in Monaca, Pa., in support of Walmart's commitment to buy an additional $50 billion in U.S.-made products over the next 10 years.
The factory will produce a new line of made-in-the-U.S.A. glass Mainstays Canning Jars for Walmart, according to an EveryWare statement. The company joined Walmart U.S. President and CEO Bill Simon, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and two other Walmart supplies--Louis Hornick and Co. (whose new South Carolina facility was reported by HFN in today's e-newsletter) and Elan Polo--at a press conference during today's SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington, held to announce these initiatives.
