Jackwyn Nemerov, former Ralph Lauren executive, elected to TJX board

Career logoNEW YORK—Adesso, Dallas Market Center, MicroD and Arteriors made executive appointments this week, while The TJX Cos. elected the former president and COO of Ralph Lauren Corp. to the board, and SodaStream International nominated a new director.

Adesso promoted Albert Kaliel to executive vice president of the manufacturer and distributor of lighting and home décor products. Previously vice president of operations, Kaliel joined Adesso in 2004 and has contributed to the exciting success and growth of Adesso over the years, the company said. He will continue his role of managing product distribution, customer experience and information systems, in addition leading its human resources department.

Dallas Market Center named home décor industry veteran Derrick Ricketts as vice president leasing, home and design. He begins the new position Dec. 5, reporting to Eva Walsh, executive vice president of leasing. Ricketts will be responsible for the strategic merchandising and leasing of the home décor floors. Ricketts joins Dallas Market Center from Aidan Gray, where he oversaw and managed both the internal and external sales teams, corporate showrooms and the customer service department.

Dan Reinbold joined MicroD as senior vice president of sales. Reinbold has more than 20 years of experience in sales, technology, business development and management, MicroD said. He recently worked for PAETEC Communications as the senior vice president and regional president of sales.

Jackwyn Nemerov has been elected to its the board of directors of The TJX Cos. Nemerov is the former president and COO of Ralph Lauren Corp., a position she held from November 2013 to November 2015, and previously served as its executive vice president. Prior to Ralph Lauren, she served in several executive roles with Jones Apparel Group, including president and COO.

SodaStream International will include Torsten Koster as an additional director nominee for election at its upcoming 2016 annual shareholders meeting. Over a 20-year career, Koster has served in various finance positions, including as CFO of Nestlé Nespresso from 2011 to 2015. Existing directors David Morris, Yehezkel Ofir and Richard Hunter will also stand for reelection at the annual meeting. Following six years of service, Eytan Glazer will step down from the board so that it will continue to have nine members following the annual meeting.

Arteriors has appointed Aldo Altieri national sales manager of the Arteriors Contract division. Altieri brings more than two decades of experience in the hospitality space to Arteriors with previous contract leadership roles at JAB USA, Duralee and Robert Allen and most recently as national sales manager for Avant Garde/Master Fabrics. He will be charged with leading the Arteriors contract team and guiding the growth of the department and business in hospitality and contract markets.
