Fagor Pressure Cooker Featured on "Food Network Star"
July 19, 2012,
LYNDHURST, N.J.-The Splendid pressure cooker from Fagor played a key role on "Food Network Star," the Food Network program that spotlights up-and-coming television chefs.
The cooker was used by contestant Emily Ellyn, part of a team headed by chef Alton Brown, to create a chicken posole (a kind of chicken stew) in less than 30 minutes. The dish won the competition in an episode that aired two weeks ago, making Ellyn a finalist in the show's eighth season. This season of "Food Network Star" features teams headed by Brown, Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis.
