WATERBURY, Vt.-Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) has formed an alliance with Campbell Soup to develop a line of K-Cups with Campbell's Soup flavors for Keurig brewers.

The new offerings will be branded Campbell's Fresh-Brewed Soup K-Cups. The launch will involve three varieties of Campbell's Soup, including chicken broth and noodle, and will appear on retail shelves in 2014. It's expected that the new K-Cups will be in the same aisles and retail sections of stores in which other K-Cups are sold, according to a statement from the two companies.

Brian Kelley, president and CEO of GMCR, said, "Campbell's is an iconic brand that shares our focus on harnessing innovation to delight consumers, making them an ideal partner as we take this first step beyond beverages for the Keurig system."
