Hearthware Changes Name to NuWave, Names Hamden to Sales Post

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.-In recognition of its identification with the NuWave line of small electrics; Hearthware Inc. has changed its corporate name to NuWave LLC.
In addition, the company has named Keith Hamden senior vice president of sales, responsible for managing the sales force, product development, packaging and promotion. Hamden reports to Jay Moon, NuWave's president, and Gene Kim, vice president, and has succeeded John Stewart.
Among the products in the line are the NuWave Pro Infrared Oven and the NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop 2. Regarding the new company name, Hamden said, "Building the NuWave brand is central to our success both now and in the future. Our new company name reflects and reinforces this."
