Hearthware Home Names Kaplan to Online Marketing Post

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.-David Kaplan has been appointed director of online marketing for Hearth Home Products.

In this newly created position, Kaplan manages the company's online marketing programs and campaigns to support the growth of the company's NuWave Pro Infrared Oven and other products. He is also responsible for planning and executing Hearthware Home's e-marketing strategy and budget. He reports to Jay Moon, the company's president, and Gene Kim, vice president.

Kaplan's career prior to this appointment included positions as online and search marketing consultant for Discover Financial Services, and as director of search engine optimization and search engine marketing for TicketsNow. As a consultant, he implemented new marketing programs for Peapod Online Shopping and Delivery.
