Housewares Charity Selects Honorees for 2012

ROSEMONT, Ill.-The Housewares Charity Foundation (HCF) will honor J.C. Penney's John Tighe, Vincent Naccarato of Molto Capital and Jane and Neil Golub of Price Chopper supermarkets at its 15th Annual Housewares Charity Foundation gala.

Tighe, senior vice president of the department-store company, will receive the Lifetime Humanitarian Award. Naccarato, Molto Capital's chairman, will be given the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Golubs, who own Price Chopper, will be honored with the Lifetime Philanthropy Award.

Co-chaired by IHA President Phil Brandl and Jeff Siegel, president and CEO of Lifetime Brands, the gala will take place at the Chicago Hilton on March 12, during the International Home + Housewares Show. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, HCF's legacy charity; IIT Institute of Design; and The Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The evening will include auctions and entertainment, and the dinner will be prepared by James Beard Award-winning chefs Michelle Bernstein, Todd English, Gale Gand, Stephanie Izard and Art Smith.
