IHA Launches Education Initiative for Specialty Retailers

ROSEMONT, Ill.-The International Housewares Association has begun holding year-round educational programs for specialty retailers; it kicked off the program yesterday with a webinar on the use of social media.

Presented by IHA's Gourmet Home Specialty Retailer University, the webinar was hosted by Ed Taylor, founder of Internet Marketing Group and author of "Proven Strategies to Increase Website Sales, Leads & Opt-ins."

Also, IHA will expand its complementary one-on-one sessions with "Experts on Call," which will piggy-back on the specialty retailer consulting offered during the International Home + Housewares Show in March. This program will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the IHA Knowledge Center on its website, housewares.org, in early July.
