KitchenAid Helps Sponsor Kips Bay Decorator Show House

NEW YORK-KitchenAid is serving as one of the sponsors for this year's Kips Bay Decorator Show House by providing kitchen appliances for the house.

The house is located at 161 E. 64th St. here, between Lexington and Third avenues. It opened on May 7 and will remain open through June 4.

As part of its sponsorship, the housewares brand is teaming up with House Beautiful magazine to host a series of events with chefs and culinary experts at the show house. Participating in these events are Julia della Croce, an authority on Italian cooking; Jacques Torres, owner of several chocolate shops throughout Manhattan and known as "Mr. Chocolate"; Katie Rosenhouse, culinary consultant and former pastry chef at restaurants ranging from Boulez and Le Cirque to the David Burke Restaurant group; Alex Hitz, House Beautiful's food columnist; and Julie Elkind, executive pastry chef at Delicatessen and TV network personality on "Playing With Fire" on E! Network.
